Greens Combustion supplied Fuel Gas Burners (with ancillaries), Fuel Gas Skid, KO Drum, Local Panel and BMS Panel as part of the CO Combustor and Energy Recovery Package for PT Pertamina, Balikpapan Project, Indonesia. The CO Combustor is fitted with 6 Greens Combustion MB35 gas burners which provide a source of ignition and support oxidation of CO and other combustibles in the Regenerator Flue Gas streams. All of the combustion air for oxidation of support fuel gas and Regenerator Flue Gas streams, plus the excess air to ensure a high destruction efficiency is introduced through the burners.
The burner uses the principle of staged air by splitting the combustion air into primary and secondary regions. It achieves low NOx emissions whilst in turn providing stability and greater resistance to plugging across a wide range of fuel gases due to the fuel gun design.
In August 2025, Greens Combustion expert from UK had performed the Pre-Commissioning of the supplied Burner, Fuel Gas Skid, KO Drum, Local Panel and BMS Panel to support the readiness of Plant Startup in 2025/2026.
